New in 2013, we opened up the main house on the ranch to visiting guest, so giving a holiday option to single travellers, couples, and parent and child combinations.
We have 3 double/twin rooms available for rent. All have their own bathroom, supplied with fresh towels, shampoos and soaps. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is also WiFi available and a pool towel supplied.
The rest of the house is shared with the family and “Moses” the dog and other guests. There is an open plan lounge and dining area, kitchen, conservatory, terraces and gardens overlooking the ranch, with private pool.
The holiday being full board obviously includes, breakfast, lunch and an evening meal. There are always plenty of soft drinks available, and fresh drinking water in all the rooms.
Breakfast: cereals, toasts, fresh fruit and yoghurts, with tea, coffee and juice.
Lunch: A choice of fresh sandwiches, rolls or baguettes. Sometimes for a change you may fancy something hot on toast, or soup if you come in the winter.
Evening meal: During the “BBQ” months dining will be generally outside, with various meats, potatoes and salads served. Pasta and rice dishes are also offered. In the winter months, casseroles and roasts are the order of the day.
We all eat together but as long as you let us know before if there is anything you do not like or cannot eat, we will adjust the weeks menu accordingly.
Alcohol: With your evening meal you are allowed 1/2 a bottle of house wine per person. Alternatively 3 beers or cider if you are not a wine drinker. Extra drinks are charged at our very cheap tariff which is in your room on arrival.
Horse riding: For these holidays you generally hack out in the morning for around 3 hours. After lunch you are welcome to ride some more, either joining another ride, taking a horse up into the school, or if you have learnt a route and feel confident being given the freedom to ride out on your own!!
However, this is just a general idea, and if this does not suit you or your group then just let us know what you would like to do. Also see the “special rides” page for rides you can add into this type of holiday.
